February 25, 2020: Central Massachusetts Genealogical Society Monthly Meeting.
“The Pierce Mansion in South Gardner”.  Speaker:  Ken Watson.

The S.K. Pierce Haunted Mansion is a 6,661-square-foot Victorian. It was built in 1875 by Sylvester Pierce, across the street from his successful furniture business, S.K. Pierce and Sons Furniture Company. People inside the house over the years have claimed to see the ghosts of S.K. Pierce, his wives, and a pair of young children. People allege they’ve heard voices inside the house, doors slam and felt the presence of an otherly being when alone in a room.

Meetings are held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Post #129, 22 Elm Street, Gardner, Massachusetts, 01440.
